Modern Refinement: ck Calvin Klein Spring 2013 LookBook.

Today I just received the latest release from ck Calvin Klein. The story is about their Spring 2013 collection. Overall the collections were dominantly white with sophisticated silhouettes featuring manipulated volumes and surfaces. Therefore, i pick 5 favorite looks that I'm gonna wear for sure. Either it's a total look or mixing it with other pieces.

There's a balance between fullness and streamlined sleekness. For sure, a man with discerning taste, contemporary look with an overall elegance.  You can see from the pictures that some fabrics used were trying to tell it own stories.

Texture abounds with unique, technical materials, like honeycomb grid, subtle seersucker and raised piqué. Compact cotton blends add structure and definition. Capturing the lightness of spring, a semi-transparent effect occurs throughout the line, revealing seams and detailing in tops and bottoms.

White can be safe but take a look deeply into their spectrum of sandy color and textury feeling. There's also a hint of cobalt blue, one of primary color that suits man very well.

Although I'm not a big fan of shorts-knowing I have a very skinny long leg, I still recommend those key looks like the suit gets updated with an unlined honeycomb grid jacket paired with matching shorts. An athletic, yet polished bomber jacket over a crisp collared shirt represents a cool confidence.

Pants are pleated to create volume on top, but taper to a slim, narrow leg. Alternatively, shorts widen at the bottom for a full, billowy ease. For outerwear, a sand crushed twill, double breasted, oversized trench coat is fluid and effortless.

For those of you who wants new collection of man bags, there's plenty oversized hand-held totes. Perfect for the season’s play on volume and proportion. Accessories are kept clean and classic in all black, white or grey. Play it safe with color and don't show too much skin.
